About the Owner

Frans Meyer originally hails from the picturesque landscapes of South Africa. His journey in the optical field began in Cape Town in 2007 when he earned his qualification as a licensed optician.

Over the years, his professional path led him through various roles in the optical industry, including working in optical dispensaries, representing an ophthalmic lens company, and even as an instrument technician for optometric equipment. In 2020, he and his wife embarked on a new chapter by relocating to the beautiful country of Canada.

Here, he continued his dedication to the field, obtaining his optician’s license for Saskatchewan from NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology). He is also a registered member of SCO (Saskatchewan College of Opticians) and OAC (Opticians Association of Canada). For a couple of years, he served as a licensed optician at an optometric office, gaining invaluable experience along the way.

Throughout his career, he has held a steadfast dream of becoming an owner of his own optical business. Since 2023, that dream has been a reality as he pursues this passion in Esterhazy, Saskatchewan.
